Five-star hotel head chef Mo Fei transmigrates into the body of a single mother with a son and a daughter.
Before she can even worry about how to raise the kids, she receives a disaster warning: survival is about to jump straight to hell difficulty.
Luckily, she gets a golden finger: a giant iron wok! It can cook without fire and comes with a magical pocket dimension.
Before disaster strikes, Mo Fei sells her house, moves, and frantically stockpiles supplies.
When disaster hits and zombies are everywhere, she grows vegetables and raises chickens in her space.
While everyone else is starving, she makes stretchy tofu with pig trotters, crispy roast squab, snowflake beef hot pot...
Her family eats until they shine with grease, and she even takes in a few underlings to serve as bodyguards.
With enough supplies to last several lifetimes, restless Mo Fei sets up a food stall.
Charcoal-grilled leg of lamb, seafood in savory sauce, rice-stuffed chicken wings! Everything costs just one mutant crystal core!
Diners who have traveled from afar hear the offer and gaze at the zombies around them with shining eyes!
Later, the ability users clear the area within a hundred miles of Mo Fei, turning it into a peaceful paradise...
Life in today's disaster-stricken world is pretty comfortable, too~
Content warning: The female lead is no saint. If you have high moral standards, don't read.
Reader's guide
1. A slow-paced story with a pocket dimension. The early chapters focus on stockpiling, while schemes and intrigue come in the middle and later parts.
2. The female lead is a chef and isn't very good at fighting zombies at first. The focus is on cooking, and she gains a strong ability to protect herself from the middle onward.
3. There is a male lead, who is not the children's biological father. The romance develops gradually.
4. The writing style is slice-of-life and fairly simple. No need to tell me if you drop the story (I bow to all my readers).

"Highway Survival: I Have a Traveling Food Truck" is available to bookmark from my author page!
Su Zhou wants to buy a house as soon as possible, so she plans to sell snacks from a stall after work.
But just after she picks up a tricycle at a secondhand market, she gets struck by a food-truck management System.
Fortune has fallen from the sky! She's read hundreds of business and wealth-building novels, and can practically see a villa, swimming pool, and male models beckoning to her!
[Ding-dong! Host, follow the navigation prompts to reach a stall location and sign in!] Great, it's a sign-in story after all.
After Su Zhou diligently signs in on one perfectly straight highway after another, she breaks down.
There isn't a single person in sight. Who's she supposed to sell to?! Ghosts?!
Holy crap, there really is a ghost!
Players from all over the world are dragged into a highway survival game.
Everyone gets a highway and a randomly assigned vehicle from the start. All supplies have to be found in treasure chests along the road. They must also face all kinds of natural disasters and attacks by monsters.
One player has terrible luck: along the way, he finds three chests, two monsters, and one empty bucket. Nobody wants the bucket when he lists it on the trading market.
As his hunger drops to its lowest level, the desperate player suddenly spots a battered tricycle parked up ahead.
A hot dog machine sits on the tricycle, with sausages sizzling and dripping grease inside. A sign beside it reads: One hot dog costs one empty bucket.
The player bursts into tears and throws himself reverently in front of the tricycle, blurting out, "Bodhisattva! You are so kind!"
Su Zhou, sitting on the tricycle and playing a video game, jumps in fright. She thinks to herself, "Customer, you're kinder than I am! After ten empty trips, I finally made a sale!"
That night, all fifteen of Su Zhou's hot dogs sell out! Both sides of the trades feel guilty, convinced they've gotten an incredible bargain.
The hottest topic on the World Channel lately is a food truck that appears at random along the roadside.
The big shot sometimes sells hot dogs, sometimes hamburgers, sometimes barbecue, and even throws in complimentary lemonade! What you can trade for it depends entirely on her mood that day.
Many materials that nobody wanted before are now in high demand, and players' survival rates have risen dramatically.
Everyone wishes that the big shot and her food truck would show up on their highway today.
As the food truck gets fancier and the menu grows, someone tries to rob the big shot. Before he can even touch her, an unknown force sends him flying.
A message lights up on the food truck's neon sign: "xxx has been permanently blacklisted. Trading privileges permanently revoked."
The same message appears at the top of the World Channel and plays on a loop for twenty-four hours.
All the players gasp. The big shot is terrifying!
Much later, when the food truck unlocks a new feature, Su Zhou finally learns that she has actually transmigrated into a world where humanity has been forced to survive on highways after a global mutation.
She is the goddess who brings hope to all the despairing players.
Theme: Women should be strong and live well with their families.
Except that the ending is a bit too fast and the female characters don't have to have emotional lines, everything else is pretty good! It looks quite comfortable and interesting! Keep up the good work!
I suggest the author not to add emotional lines to the heroine in the future. It is really ugly to do this in a post-apocalyptic novel. The two children were quite cute in the early stage, but they have been reduced to backgrounds. Oh, this article is a pity. The subject matter is quite good.
Skipping a chapter, isn't there a plot to slap the original protagonist's father, a scumbag, in the face? Is that someone who stole money and deceived his relationship to escape?
Can't you burn him to ashes?
Brother Legg's superpower, hahahahahahahaha
Author, the hero's good brother Di'an seems to be called this name. I don't seem to have seen his follow-up. Is he dead? 😭 😭
It's so sad. I said why are you so fat? It's the finale (?í _ ì?)
It's the end of "Spreading Flowers". It's so fun to watch. I'm looking forward to the sequel.
OK, finish spreading flowers!
Hahahahahahaha, okay!
