[Here's a peek at my next novel, My Nen Ability Is a Good Kid's Growth Plan. Blurb at the bottom.]
I've run into a bit of a problem lately.
My childhood friend, whom I broke up with years ago, found me and started pestering me relentlessly. No matter how much I mocked and taunted him, he refused to leave.
Him: Weren't you head over heels for me back then? Now that I've become a bodhisattva, shouldn't you like me even more?
We hadn't seen each other in years, but I still admired his insufferable confidence.
I asked sincerely, "Didn't we end things ages ago?"
As soon as the words left my mouth, the ever-arrogant Jade Dragon Third Prince turned red-eyed and looked at me with such a pitiful expression, as if I were the heartless one.
Him: You don't like me anymore?
Me: Isn't that obvious?
And then he actually cried.
What do I do now, everyone?
I made the Jade Dragon Third Prince cry. Is his father going to bring a million shrimp and crab soldiers to wipe me out?
#How did my childhood friend turn into a troublesome crybaby??#
#Can I report him to the Celestial Court for pestering me relentlessly?#

■ The male lead is the White Dragon Horse from Journey to the West, with some original additions. He's a crybaby.

Blurb for My Nen Ability Is a Good Kid's Growth Plan
A month ago, I awakened my Nen ability.
Unlike my childhood friend's violent Nen ability, mine is like a nurturing game. I named it A Good Kid's Growth Plan.
When I entered the game, I saw a boy in front of me, crying, his body covered in bruises. He was hiding in the corner of a garbage heap, sobbing quietly.
He was so hungry his stomach hurt, yet he still offered me the piece of bread he'd managed to find in the trash, telling me to eat first.
Me: ...
Me: What's this feeling? Like my heart just got struck?
To keep the boy from going hungry, I threw myself into completing quests. I went from a lazy slacker to a workaholic, and finally turned the garbage dump into a farm. My precious good kid was growing into a healthy, strong, athletic young man who loved exercise.
But then he suddenly confessed to me.
Chrollo: Actually, I liked you from the moment we first met.
Chrollo: I've never been a good person. I gave you the bread because I liked you, and I acted well-behaved around you because you like me that way.
The boy then pointed at the two other boys above his head, [Hisoka] and [Illumi], one red and one black, and asked,
"Who are they?"
Feeling guilty, I quit the game and never logged in again, because I died in the Dark Continent.
When I woke up, the boy had become strange, acting completely out of character.
If I had to describe it in a word... the abandoned cat effect?
He clung to me to an alarming degree, unwilling to be apart from me even for a single step. Dark energy seemed to radiate from him, his eyes were always wet, and his gentle gaze was tinged with obsession.
Chrollo: I'll protect you. I won't let you die again.
Chrollo: Don't leave me again. Not even for one step, okay?
[Reading Guide]
■ The male lead is much more devoted to the heroine than she is to him, and he's a very convincing actor.
■ The heroine is the Phantom Troupe's moonlight. Other characters will have one-sided feelings for her, but the pairing is Chrollo.
■ Third-person narration.
■ Fan fiction with some changes to the plot. You can enjoy it even if you haven't read the original.
■ The abandoned cat effect: According to Baidu Baike, cats that have been abandoned and then taken back in tend to be especially well-behaved because they fear being abandoned again. In relationships, it describes someone who, after being dumped, does their best to act the way their ex likes if given a chance to get back together.
Theme: Make the most of the present
It stands to reason that the heroine has been a ghost for some time. It would be too funny if the hero did not accompany the heroine at the first moment, but only then came to compensate the heroine and confessed to the heroine.
Congratulations, ah, to be honest, I just finished chasing Inhumans recently, and the image of Lie Lie made me feel a bit disconnected, hahahahaha
Wait, isn't Xiao Bailong the third prince of Xihai, Ao Lie? Isn't Ao Bing the Third Prince of the West Sea who was ripped off by Nezha and turned into a dragon whip? These two are not the same person
The heroine is a bit pretentious and has a love brain attack while speaking harshly.

Oh what, the heroine killed her parents for love.
Is the city lord Qiao Bai? !
What on earth is Little White Dragon going to do?
First? Congratulations on Kaiwen! !
Come on, come on, the wait is finally here
