[Short story, probably around 200,000 words. I'm a beginner practicing my writing, and I will finish it. Updates are irregular (at least once or twice a week, and I might post a much longer chapter). I'm pretty busy lately, QAQ.]

[The tone is rather dark. The male lead isn't a good person (or maybe he is) (emphasis added). His morality is Schrodinger's dark, but he is definitely good to his childhood friend.]

Blurb:

Asti "betrays" the Organization and transforms into Kuya Itsu, an undercover investigator for the good guys.

Mission: Find out which Organization mole leaked the identities of the Public Security undercover agents.

Kuya Itsu, having lost his memories, arrives in Tokyo.

Day one after his transfer: Rescues a suicidal little girl in a red suspender skirt from a bomb.

Day two: A murder at a restaurant. He's on the scene in a flash.

Day three: A man in black has been following him, and now pins him against a door with a gun!

Kuya: What is going on?!

The man turns him over and over, as if checking something.

The white-haired officer's heart skips a beat. Could he have been part of the underworld before, too? But he's a bona fide Japanese police officer now!!!

His memories are triggered, and Asti returns.

[1] As a child, cold-hearted Gin met a boy who had also been abandoned. That boy was Asti.

But later, the boy disappeared.

Gin was furious: He betrayed him. He had to find him, lock him up, and keep him forever.

From the moment the boy left, Gin had prepared thousands of ways to punish him for his betrayal.

But when he finally found him, he couldn't bring himself to do it.

[2] The boy Gin had cherished in his heart since childhood became a top-ranking member of the Organization, capable of standing on his own.

But tragically, he had become the gentleman's merciless blade in Gin's place.

The killer received the Organization's order to hunt him down and showed up at his door, livid.

"Not afraid of dying at all. That's just like you, Asti!"

"..." He looked furious.

"How much longer were you going to keep this from me?"

"..." Huh?

"Say something! Back then, what did he do to you..."

The moment the words fell, the air froze.

It took a long time before he finally looked up.

The killer stared, stunned, at the person pinned beneath him. The corners of his delicate eyes were red, and he looked like a little fox about to cry as he pleaded with him.

"Jin, leave that place."

"Come with me."

"..."
