[Resident Evil] Corey's Journal

As an office worker, he endured the 007 hell of working day after day, clients' endless bizarre demands, backstabbing and sabotage between departments, and a stingy boss's wildly unrealistic promises. Then the company cut his pay. The little employee who went by the English name CC saw black before his eyes and finally died from overwork in the early hours of an otherwise unremarkable morning.

God, if you really exist, please don't give me another life. If I have to be reborn, let me become a fluffy little pet in a rich, animal-loving home. I'd be willing to get neutered.

But fate had other plans. When CC woke up again, he had become C.C. Corey Costas, a human young man with all four limbs intact, rather than an adorable little animal.

Corey fell silent. Corey accepted it.

At least this time, the workplace atmosphere was harmonious, the boss was reliable, the schedule was regular, and he was far from dying of overwork.
