I Accidentally Learned My First Love Had Died

Blurb: Liang Chen once had a crush on me. We were each other's first love. He said he'd come see me during summer break. But he never came to see me that summer. At a dinner with my high school classmates, I unexpectedly learned that my first boyfriend had died. My mind went blank for three seconds, and I was left in a daze, my emotions in turmoil. I vaguely remember that, in my first year of high school, a huge banner hung at the school gate for over a month. White letters on a red background read: "Warm congratulations to our school's Liang Chen for winning the gold medal in mathematics at the Chinese Olympiad." Unlike the coldness he showed in competitions, the Liang Chen I remember was always gentle and fair-skinned, and seemed very polite. Every time I walked up to him, he was smiling. He always looked so happy. Theme: First love
