The First Page of the Rose

At a family-arranged blind date, Yu You reluctantly makes her way into a private dining room.

She plans to turn him down and leave, but accidentally takes one extra look.

The man across from her raises his eyes. Impeccably composed in his suit, with striking features and an aloof, distinguished air.

"I need the status of a married man."

He offers her the menu. His fingers are beautiful against its velvet cover. "Miss Yu, would you be willing?"

...Yu You sits down.

Yu You, a hopeless face-connoisseur and collector of handsome men, carefree and heedless of consequences, flicks her hair to hide the earrings from Dating Partner No. 1, flips over her phone as Online Dating Partner No. 2 floods it with messages, and ignores the car from Sugar Daddy No. 3 waiting outside the restaurant to take her to a party. Her eyes shining and dimples showing, she says, "I do."
