After Raising Cubs, the Ferocious Beast Saw the Light

As a Bai Ze with an official post at the Bureau of Supernatural Affairs, Xie Miao had always thought there was nothing she couldn't do.

That was until she got tired of educating ferocious beasts, applied for retirement, and took in the cub the Organization Department had assigned her to raise.

On the first day the cub came home, it was shy and tried to hide in a cupboard, smashing a huge hole in the cupboard door.

On the second day, it got greedy, ate the ice fruit she had saved for decades, and ended up in the hospital with a stomachache.

Xie Miao: Don't stop me! I can keep working! How hard can it be to educate ferocious beasts? It can't be harder than raising a child, can it?

Eventually, Xie Miao learned how to raise a cub. Just as a happy life seemed within reach, the cub's biological father came looking for her. "You know, a single-parent household isn't very good for the cub's development..."

"I can cook, I can fight, and I'm not bad-looking. How about giving me a chance?"

A Bai Ze with overwhelming strength X a home-loving Phoenix

*Both are each other's one and only. The cub's situation will be explained later.
