The male and female leads arrive at the space division and learn about the wormhole incident. They investigate it together and gradually fall in love, becoming a couple. When an extraterrestrial life-form attacks, they fight back together but are overpowered and forced apart. At the end of the battle, the invaders withdraw completely after the leads persuade them to do so. Afterwards, the two become honorary heroes.
