The boy stood beneath the clear sunlight, a faint smile on his face. His eyes, fixed on her, seemed to hold a lake, gentle and reserved.

After gazing at each other for a long while, he spoke. His voice was like a stream thawing in early spring, cool and clear.

"Hello, I'm Xie Shengyuan."

Cen Xi remembered that scene for a long time.

His gentle expression, his clear voice, every detail of that moment remained vivid in her memory.

Only later did Cen Xi realize the truth.

She had fallen in love at first sight.

The next moment, Xie Shengyuan reached out and caught her by the sleeve. His voice was hoarse and cool as snow.

"Xixi."
