Yu Yao and her sworn enemy, Su Xiao, have been at each other's throats for a century.

During the year they hated each other most, an accident led her to mistakenly plant a Lifebond Contract on him, thinking it was a secret art that would kill him.

As its name suggests, a Lifebond Contract requires both parties to share their lifespans and live and die together.

If one dies, the other won't survive either!

Su Xiao: Did you all hear that? She wants us to share a bed in life and a grave in death!

They end up in the same bed.

Su Xiao: "...Was this why you bound me to you with the Lifebond Contract?"

Yu Yao: "Shut up!"

All she can say is, she regrets it.
