I'm Willing to Be Forced into This Marriage

The Jinyiwei Commander Cui Xun is a treacherous and ruthless man. Everyone in the capital turns pale at the mention of him, and he is terrifying enough to stop children from crying at night. He knows he is no good himself. He once personally heard a merchant's daughter tell her maid, "I'd rather be a poor man's wife than a powerful man's concubine." Even so, he deliberately used his power and status to force her: "Be my concubine, or..." Before he could finish, she cheerfully replied, "Sure!" Cui Xun: ...Huh? Did I just get played? Ji Sang transmigrates to ancient times and becomes a merchant's daughter hated by her stepmother. At the time, her stepmother is arranging a marriage for her, but the prospective groom is a living hell, and there is a good chance she will eventually be sold into a brothel. Just as she is at the end of her rope, a handsome, powerful man with no wife, concubines, or bedchamber attendants says he wants her to be his concubine. Ji Sang immediately agrees, her heart full of gratitude. Is this coercion? No, this is a helping hand in her hour of need! May good people live long and prosper!
