My deskmate seems to have some inexplicable grudge against me.
Ever since we became deskmates, he's never once been nice to me.
When I ask him for help with a problem, he stays silent, lowers his head, and writes out the solution, avoiding eye contact the entire time.
When our teacher assigns us to carry homework together, he deliberately slows down and keeps his distance, as if afraid I'll turn around and talk to him.
When we take our graduation photo, he chooses the spot farthest away from me.
And yet, after graduation, I keep dreaming about our high school days. In those dreams, the point of view quietly shifts to his.
In the dream, he holds my hand as he writes out the solution and praises me: "Shu's handwriting is so pretty."
As we carry homework together, he walks beside me. "From behind, Shu's back looks so slender."
When we take our graduation photo, he stands right next to me. "Shu smells so nice."
At first, I can only watch from the sidelines. Gradually, I discover that I can control myself in the dreams...
So, when he once again wraps his arms around me from behind and guides my hand as he writes out his solution, I deliberately lean into his arms and casually say:
"That new transfer student is really good-looking. I think I'm starting to like him."
Then I see his eyes darken in an instant.
A note before reading:
1. This isn't a conventional school story and contains lots of horror elements.
2. The female lead doesn't like pressure, while the male lead really likes it.
