- My next book, Please Don’t Stop, Summer: fake uncle-and-niece relationship. Please add it to your collections, mwah!
- This book’s blurb
A refined, villainous, fatherly type from Beijing’s elite circle × a clear-headed young lady
Intense push and pull / groveling to win her back / 10-year age gap
1
In the past, He Wantian most loved seeing the man she called “Uncle.”
The words “Uncle” meant:
No school, fairy-tale amusement parks, the hustle and bustle of the streets, and the first snowfall in Hokkaido.
The days her uncle spent by her side were the happiest times of He Wantian’s girlhood.
But the words “Uncle” also meant:
A dagger, a partnership of shared interests, an ally in the family power struggle, and the only way out of her fate.
2
When they meet again, He Wantian is a gold medal-winning comic artist.
He is the presenter, and the school’s biggest benefactor.
Thunderous applause fills the room. Their eyes meet, and they shake hands politely, as if they were strangers.
No one knows what happens backstage, in the stairwell, by the emergency exit.
The man bends to brush the hair away from her ear, tilting his head with a low laugh.
“Long time no see. I brought you a present.”
3
He Lv has a pair of tender eyes.
She once believed because of them that, although he never said he loved her, he hid all his affection in the little things he did every day.
Their ambiguous relationship comes to an end one night.
After their entanglement, He Wantian lies lazily in his arms.
The charming, rakish man twirls a strand of her hair around his finger, his voice as languid as ever.
“Wantian, have I ever taught you what a ‘political marriage’ is?”
“Hmm?”
“You should get married,” he says.
He Wantian is stunned.
The tenderness in He Lv’s face is just as it always was, but his tone is steady and oppressive.
“Tomorrow at three in the afternoon. Dress up nicely.”
In the silence, He Lv gently coaxes her:
“I picked that boy myself. You’ll like him.”
4
She chooses to leave him, to run away from him.
But she is stopped just before her flight takes off.
The man pins both her wrists behind her back with one hand.
His other hand grips her face, cutting off every attempt to struggle.
He presses down heavily, trapping her between himself and the seat.
There is no way out.
“Run,” he says in a low, husky voice. “Why did you stop?”
“Everything about you, inside and out, belongs to me. Where do you think you can run?”
Her eyes are red, and her voice trembles. “If you still have even a little affection for me, let me go.”
“Let you go?” He seems to find it funny. His thumb slowly glides across her cheek, then stops at the throbbing artery in her neck, rubbing it carelessly.
His tone is almost doting.
“But I can’t bear to.”

Both leads are each other’s only partners. Happy ending.

Blurb for my next book, Don’t Draw Pigs on the Back of Your Exam Paper
A proud, top-of-the-class genius × a sensitive, resilient girl
Living-under-the-same-roof trope / mutual pining becomes love / bittersweet
In their senior year of high school, his parents take in a girl they barely know.
Her sunburned face is dotted with a few pimples, her jeans are faded, and the sides of her canvas shoes are coming unglued. Even the way she speaks and moves is awkward and uneasy.
It’s not that he dislikes her.
Ren Siyu simply looks down on her from the bottom of his heart.
Sensitive, insecure, and timid.
She is no more than an insignificant background figure in his senior year.
-
Zhu Cheng can’t remember when she fell for Ren Siyu.
He is a top-ranked academic star and an up-and-coming Go prodigy about to compete professionally. He was born in the spotlight, with a bright future ahead.
He is too clever. Her girlish feelings are impossible to hide from him.
She has a crush on him.
He knows she has a crush on him.
She pretends she hates him.
The arrogant refuse to lower their heads first.
The prejudiced refuse to show weakness first.
-
The morning after a celebratory banquet, three years after the college entrance exams.
The room is a mess from the night before, and the air still reeks of alcohol.
The two, who haven’t seen each other in a long time, look at the aftermath in front of them. Neither speaks first.
Ren Siyu stares at Zhu Cheng’s back for a long while, then stubs out his cigarette.
The next second, he leans over, bracing one hand on the bed beside her and wrapping his other arm around her, wanting to continue.
But she calmly presses her index finger to his lips and pushes him back a little.
She gets up and puts distance between them, her voice as clear and composed as ever.
“No.”
A perfectly clear refusal.
For once, Ren Siyu’s usual carefree expression vanishes. He stares at her with a taut expression for two seconds, then laughs.
“Zhu Cheng, you’re colder than I am.”

Theme: Love yourself.
So can we at least come up and say something about whether or not it should be updated? What does it mean to disappear directly?
No. Don't you plan to update it??? It's outrageous that we've been cut off for so long.
Don't you plan to update it?
There are probably only a few chapters left. Please update them all as soon as possible. It's so frustrating to follow your articles... 💔 How long has it been since I've finished this book? I have to finish it... But I really can't catch up with your articles in the future. It's so torturous [covering face and laughing] 💔 💔
It's time for an update. Do you have procrastination?
I won't say whether it can be finished. What I wrote after such a long time interval cannot match the previous emotions. The chapters in the latest update are almost two books in length from the previous ones. You might as well just come out and say you don't want to write anymore.
When I first opened this article, I was completely attracted by the copywriting. I was really looking forward to it. Later, the updates were not on time and even disappeared for a while. I thought this book was useless. I didn't expect that you would come back and continue to update. I was also looking forward to the future plot direction. I was very supportive. But I'm so consumed by you that I don't look forward to the subsequent plot at all. Is there a crematorium for chasing wives? No, right? Now that I see it, all I can say is that the writing is the most exciting... 💔 I hope you can finish this book well. Why are you keeping everyone waiting... 💔
It's been more than half a month!! Is the author ready to finish the work?
Why hasn't it been updated for half a month?!
Look at how many times it's been updated in a month!!! Why don't you give me more words?
