[This novel is currently open for preorders] Originally titled My Doomed Disciples [Book Transmigration]
Fu Yunxi is a 996 office drone who accidentally transmigrates into a danmei xianxia novel his coworker is reading.
In the novel, he is a rigid, old-fashioned master and a major villain who tries to keep his two disciples from falling in love. Not only are his views outdated, he also constantly scolds them.
Naturally, both disciples hate him to the core.
His junior disciple, Cang Lanzhi, seems gentle and obedient, but is actually an ultimate schemer who keeps plotting to trick him into the Immortalization Pool and kill him.
His senior disciple, Qi Suxiao, is quiet and composed, but secretly practices forbidden arts and spends every day plotting to lock him up and torture him to death.
Even if Fu Yunxi lets the two of them date freely, he still gets poisoned and tortured just as much.
After a while, he simply retreats into the mountains to cultivate in seclusion.
Damn, if I can't afford to provoke them, can't I at least hide?
When Fu Yunxi finally emerges from seclusion, the Demon Venerable happens to attack.
To keep villains from discovering the mountain where Fu Yunxi was in seclusion, his junior disciple, Cang Lanzhi, has his immortal bones stripped away and is left on the brink of death.
Meanwhile, his senior disciple, Qi Suxiao, suddenly vanishes, his fate unknown. Fu Yunxi has no choice but to care for the junior disciple whose immortal bones have been taken first, then search for the senior disciple.
Several years later, while gathering immortal herbs for Cang Lanzhi at Ten Thousand Skeleton Mountain, Fu Yunxi unexpectedly comes across two familiar faces confronting each other on the mountain.
Senior disciple Qi Suxiao, his hands brimming with sinister energy: Junior, didn't you say we'd trick Master together, and once it was done, Master would be mine and the sect yours?
Junior disciple Cang Lanzhi, frost clinging to his lips: Senior, you're so naive. What use do I have for the sect? Even if you came back now, Master would have forgotten you long ago. You might as well hand Master over to me. I can find another little immortal to give you.
Fu Yunxi: ???
...These two unfilial disciples both seem to covet my body!
The endgame pairing is currently Cang Lanzhi.
