A Self-Help Guide for a Mad Princess

[Unhinged Puppet Princess x Repressed Childhood Friend and Physician x Powerful, Lonely Man]

This is primarily a political intrigue story, with relatively little romance.

As a puppet of the royal family, Yao Lingxi wears two masks:

When pursuing power, she's the crown prince's foremost strategist, backed by the Princess's residence's overwhelming influence.

When acting lovestruck, she's been infatuated with Xie Tiankuang for fourteen years, and dreams of eloping with him.

It begins when her calculating side wins out, and she marries Zhang Zaiyue to strengthen the crown prince's position through an alliance.

But things don't go as expected. The powerful minister Zhang Zaiyue is a madman. He marries her because he mistakenly believes Yao Lingxi wants to force herself on him and cruelly murdered the woman he loved.

On their wedding night, Zhang Zaiyue grips her by the throat and sneers, "You killed the woman I loved and forced me to marry you? Today, the entire Yao clan will die with you."

She tilts his head a little, pins him down, and grinds him into the dirt. Ignoring his red-rimmed eyes and bitten lip, she slams down an abacus. "I'll save the woman you love, and you let me elope. My whole family is your creditor!"

Then she turns around and wraps her arms around Xie Tiankuang's trim waist. "You were gone for six years. Hah, you'll have to repay this debt in the flesh."

Xie Tiankuang is utterly helpless. All night, he keeps rescuing her from the edge of disaster, and she even climbs into his bed...

By this point, Zhang Zaiyue thinks this is a story where he murders the love rival and wins his wife back in no time. Little does he know, there are countless people coveting Yao Lingxi...

Her older brother, Yao Yinle: "Lingling can only belong to me."

The crown prince: "Cousin, I'm not like my father. I'll treat you well!"

The emperor: "Fourth girl, how about I give you my empire?"

Behind the emperor, a bloodthirsty organization is itching to make its move: "Your Highness, we've prepared an imperial consort for you."

Hounded by a crowd of unhinged people, Yao Lingxi has no choice but to return to the imperial palace, work herself to the bone, and fight to save herself...
