After Losing My Memory, I Became My Archrival’s Dao Companion

As the Demon Venerable, Ji Fuque has faced only three hardships in his life, and all three had something to do with Zhong Tan.

The first was during the war between gods and demons. He faced Zhong Tan, lost by a single move, and was captured as a prisoner.

The second came when he was to inherit the title of Demon Venerable. The previous Demon Venerable ordered him to defeat Zhong Tan, the God Realm's God of War. He lost again, but luckily, the old Demon Venerable died as soon as he finished speaking, so no one could stop Ji Fuque from taking the throne.

The third came when he attempted to overcome his heart trial. When he awoke, he had lost some of his memories and most of his cultivation.

He had also been taken prisoner in the Heavenly Palace, where his sworn enemy Zhong Tan bowed before him and murmured the most nauseating words of love.

Ji Fuque: What trick are you trying to pull this time?

What High God Zhong Tan regrets most in his life is how stubbornly upright he was in his youth, seeing the demon race as evil. As a result, after his cultivation trial, his Dao companion lost his memory and remembered only their past, treating Zhong Tan as a sworn enemy.
