The Biography of Wang Fu.
Sanqing, a celestial maiden in the service of the Holy Mother of the West at Mount Kunlun's Jade Pool, was punished for leaving her post on a whim to play. She was sent down to the mortal realm to undergo a tribulation for three hundred years. More than 273 years have passed, and she has spent sixteen of them reincarnated as the daughter of Wang Fang of Qingshen County, Meizhou.
Wang Fu, a native of Qingshen County, Meizhou, was the daughter of Wang Fang, a recommended provincial examination candidate. She was the first wife of Su Shi, the great Northern Song poet.
At sixteen, she met Su Shi and they were brought together by the Fish-Calling Pond. From then on, they were bound in a happy marriage.
As a wife, she was dignified and steady, well-read and courteous. Perceptive and careful, wise and humble, she was always Su Shi's capable partner.
Then, at the age of twenty-seven, she left everything behind and passed away.
Ten years later, Su Shi wrote the immortal elegy "River Town: Dreaming on the Night of the Twentieth Day of the First Month, Yimao Year" in her memory.

There will be some departures from history and some fictionalization, but I won't deliberately vilify any historical figures. The portrayal will be objective as far as possible.
