1. Modern setting after the spiritual qi revival
2. Runs a general store, with a focus on running the business
Overnight, spiritual qi revived and the world changed completely.
Yun Kemeng's classmates all switched to sword cultivation, alchemy, medicine, talismans, magic, or artifact crafting. Those who couldn't manage even that became body cultivators and went to work hauling bricks at construction sites after graduation.
Yun Kemeng was the only one who couldn't switch to any cultivation path. All she could do was take her little spirit creature, which only knew how to dig holes and bury itself, back to her hometown. There, she planned to inherit her family's general store, now vacant since both her parents had switched paths, and live an ordinary life as a mortal.
Who could have guessed that once the little spirit creature returned home, it would suddenly become overpowered? Not only did it turn all the fruits and vegetables back home into spirit fruits and spirit vegetables, it also called on its friends, who could produce spirit ore, grow spirit herbs, weave spirit cloth, and raise spirit beasts!
Before long, the lofty sword cultivators, alchemists, medicine cultivators, magic cultivators, and artifact crafters were all rushing into her little shop, just to be the first to buy the spirit goods her friends produced.
Everyone who had once mocked her was dragged over by their friends and family to apologize: "Shopkeeper Yun, they didn't know any better. Please accept our apology. Could you ask your spirits to be the bigger person and give them a chance to buy something?"

Since the spiritual qi revival, the only way to obtain spirit goods has been to fight for them in secret realms. Nine out of ten people who enter a secret realm never make it out. Countries have gone to incredible lengths, even risking life and limb, to secure more cultivation resources, yet they have never found a solution.
But at some point, a general store stocked entirely with spirit goods opened in Huaguo.
The whole world went wild!
For a while, trending topics like #RequirementsToImmigrateToHuaguo, #HuaguoCultivationPathSwitchingGreenCard, #WhichHuaguoCultivationAcademyOrCompanyIsEasyToGetInto, and #WhenWillHuaguoUnifyTheCultivationWorld stayed at the top of the trending charts day after day.
In response, the people of Huaguo all declared: "Double it all, and then some!"
Wah, I can't get any! I really can't get any! Big shot, I'm starving. Feed me!
