Under the night sky, a handsome batfrog wearing a “cat-eared” mask leaps before the full moon. His spread cape seems to enfold the whole world beneath his wings.

You gasp: Well, maybe I can play this game just one more billion times.

Batfrog is a hardworking little hero who keeps the city safe. You feel bad that your froggy is always getting hurt, so you start growing four-leaf clovers like crazy to buy him everything he could want. You just don’t know why your in-game frog keeps lagging.

In the pouring rain, a few fluffy little birds shelter beneath Batfrog’s wings. In the distance, a small animal with an umbrella and an indistinct face slowly walks toward them.

This cozy, everyday game draws you in, and before long you find yourself keeping tabs on everything Batfrog does. Then one day, you discover that your tiny batfrog actually has two sides.

You thought you’d keep playing forever, until the game company went out of business and you were forced to say goodbye to your adorable batfrog, little bird, raccoon, golden retriever, and all the others. Then, on an utterly ordinary day, you open your front door and find a giant, pitch-black figure standing outside.

You: ?

You: Where’s my teeny-tiny batfrog? Who’s this terrifying giant black figure, three times my size?!!

You: Whoever you are, turn back into a frog right now!
