[Investiture of the Gods] Oh No, It's a Love Triangle!

[Comments are open]

You enter a full-dive game set in Investiture of the Gods.

The good news: all four male leads are devastatingly handsome. The bad news: you can't romance them.

The good-and-bad news: something seems off about your version of the game. You haven't pursued them, but they're the ones throwing themselves at you.

"Ever since you were little, you've loved acting spoiled with your master. But as you grew older, your master, always dressed in white and gentle yet aloof, would simply pat your head and order you in an unmistakably firm voice, 'Mind your manners.' Yet whenever you lowered your head and pouted, he would quietly turn away and clench his fists."

"The little boy who once shouted that he would marry you and take you home has become a direct disciple of Taiyi Zhenren, a renowned killer. The moment the beautiful young man sees you, all the killing intent drains from him. He rests his head on your shoulder and murmurs, 'Big sister, I'm so tired.'"

"You always thought your nominal senior fellow disciple didn't care about worldly affairs. He treated everyone with distant courtesy, you included. Yet whenever someone confessed their feelings for you, he was always there to firmly turn them down on your behalf. Then he'd smile and tell you they weren't good enough for you."

"Whether he was the little prince once sheltered beneath your wings or the King of Wu who now has to stand on his own, he always forgets that you can use magic too, instinctively pulling you behind him. But after seeing the spell you cast, he silently withdraws his hand and lowers his head, murmuring, 'Will we always be different?'"

After struggling through the love triangle for so long, you grow tired, shut down the game, and decide to steer clear of it and cherish your life.

But you find that you can't move.

Someone embraces you from behind. Someone grabs your arm. Someone stands before you, watching with an enigmatic smile. And someone else has gone and broken your device.

"You still haven't decided who to choose."
