Reader's guide and content warnings:

1. This story breaks up Su Huan Zhen and Feng Cai Ling, and pairs Su Huan Zhen with Lin Daiyu.

2. In this world, Lin Daiyu has returned to her original form as the Crimson Pearl Fairy, so her personality will be a little different from the one in Dream of the Red Chamber, though overall she won't change much. As a fairy, Lin Daiyu also knows some immortal arts. (As usual, Yun Hai Xian Men will appear.)

3. This story only involves the Pili storyline. Su Huan Zhen and Feng Cai Ling have nothing romantic between them from the start; they are friends. (I absolutely will not vilify original characters just to pair them up. That's my bottom line!)

4. Apart from Su Huan Zhen and Lin Daiyu, there are no other non-canon pairings. All others are official pairings from the original work.

5. Characters will be brought back from the dead. As usual, Yu Xiao gets revived right at the start.
