It focuses on ghosts, Awakened, and ghost domains. When ghosts descend on the mortal world, they create ghost domains of varying sizes in reality. The stronger the ghost, the larger its domain. The Awakened must enter a ghost domain and clear its challenges, ultimately defeating the ghost and destroying the domain. You can think of the Awakened as players entering instances, with the ghost as the final boss. The first ghost domain is the heroine's own. Her life story runs through the entire challenge, with each of its three stages reflecting and echoing a different part of her life. Since it's the heroine's domain, it will involve women's awakening and resistance. It's set in the Republican era and will include some portrayal of that period. The chapters about the Awakened make up a large part of the story, so you can think of them as the protagonists without affecting anything. The first ghost domain can be read as the heroine's prequel. The heroine isn't strong from the start. She's very weak at first, though she gets stronger later. The heroine only regains her memories of being a ghost near the end. The male lead is her older brother, not a blood-related one. After she became a ghost, she called him her brother on a whim because she couldn't beat him. After losing her memories, she forgot him. I'll try to bring him into the story in the third ghost domain. The second ghost domain, the Heavenly Joy arc, is complete. The third ghost domain, the Heavenly Grief arc, is almost finished.
