Surviving the Apocalypse with a Sign-In System

[Scheming, possessive, power-packed top x timid, cheerful, tenacious bottom]

He woke up to find his roommate had turned into a zombie, while all sorts of zombies wandered leisurely around campus.

Xie Le: Mom, save me!

Just as Xie Le was hiding on the dorm balcony, calling for help with no answer from heaven or earth, the senior he had a crush on came to rescue him.

Xie Le: I owe you my life, mighty savior! From now on, you're my second parents!

Song Wen: ...

As an orphan, Xie Le had nowhere to go after leaving school, so he clung to the mighty one's leg and wouldn't let go.

"Please take me in! I'll work like an ox or a horse to repay you!"

Song Wen: "I suppose I could take you in... But from now on, you'll have to do as I say."

Xie Le: "Absolutely! I'm super obedient! If you tell me to go east, I wouldn't dare go west. If you tell me to pet a dog, I won't sneak off to steal a chicken."

At last, Xie Le had found a powerful backer to cling to. Then he sadly realized that he was the only one in the whole group without an ability!

Song Wen: "It's fine. Just do as you're told, and I'll protect you."

One day, Xie Le picked up a sign-in System.

"Hey, want to hear about this? Sign in every day for a random reward, and you can also complete zombie missions! Lots of benefits, so come bind with me!"

After Xie Le bound himself to the System, he pulled a chicken leg out of his backpack one day and a bottle of water the next. He noticed the mighty one's gaze on him growing more and more suspicious.

Song Wen: "Where did you get all this? Don't you have an ability? Did you go cling to someone else's leg again?"

Xie Le, trembling in fear: "Hahaha, it's a misunderstanding! I accidentally awakened a spatial ability. It's just not very reliable. It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't."

Song Wen: "You think I'll believe that?"

Xie Le: Why does the mighty one keep watching me all day and never let me go anywhere? It's so scary, sob... Should I keep clinging to this leg?

Theme: Be positive and sunny, and let life shine.
