Chu Wan was plagued by illness from birth.
Whenever people mentioned him, they thought of a gifted painter as bright as the moon after rain, yet could not help regretting his frail health.
Chu Wan rarely had any close friends.
When he was young, anyone who got close to him would get hurt, and anyone who bullied him would suffer retribution.
It was as if an invisible shadow lurked behind him, trying to isolate him from everyone.
Until one day, he met a tall, straight-backed young man. The other smiled and leaned close to his ear, sighing softly. That voice had once lingered by his ear day and night.
“Brother, you can finally... see me.”

Li Siying was not a normal human. He was actually a monster.
Chu Wan always stirred his appetite.
When Chu Wan was very young, it had wanted to eat him, and it still did after he grew up.
It liked slipping into Chu Wan's room at night, touching him with its black shadow, feeling his warm, slender body and the damp tears at the corners of his eyes.
But Chu Wan was fragile. Even the lightest touch would leave him sick for a long time.
Even so, Chu Wan belonged to it, and always would.

From a very young age, Chu Wan realized that a shadow had appeared by his side. At first, he wanted to tame the monster. Later, he wanted to raise it as a pet that belonged only to him.
He carefully prepared many things to lock the monster away, including himself.
In truth, this is a sweet romance disguised as a monster story!
A sickly, aloof, beautiful painter who plays the pig to eat the tiger (bottom) × a deranged, possessive monster with every imaginable trait (top)
(P.S. Basically, neither of them is a good person, and they both see the other as prey.)
Theme: Stand by your convictions, and you will always meet people who share your ideals.
