A Spending Simulator, But I Spend My Way to the Top

Ning Le, a little-known star in the entertainment industry, happens upon a spending simulator and enters a parallel version of the real world.

She can return to reality only after spending all five million.

Ning Le waves it off, saying it's no big deal.

After all, who doesn't know how to spend money?

She immediately invests it in the director on the third floor, who is always crying poor.

The result: the movie becomes a massive hit!

As its sole investor, she gets a hundred million, even after going out of her way to increase the shares paid to every actor, director, and cinema.

Ning Le refuses to give up. To spend the money, she pours a fortune into a comeback concert for a faded pop diva, floods a third-rate producer with funding, and pours money into fan campaigns for a struggling idol group. She spends in every way she can, only to accidentally become the richest person in the world.

Ning Le: ...

Looking at a bank balance longer than a phone number, she lets out a heart-wrenching cry: Money, stop coming to me!

Who knew spending it all would be this hard? Can I still go back to reality and pursue my idol?

Wait, if this is a parallel world, can something as small as romance be simulated too?

What Ning Le doesn't know is that the so-called parallel world has always been the real world.

The simulator is actually called the World's Richest Person Simulator. Plenty of other people have received it too, and their progress is being livestreamed to alien planets. Someone maliciously changed the name of Ning Le's simulator.

While everyone else pinches pennies and makes small-time investments, she leaves all the other contestants in the dust and becomes, beyond question, the richest person in the world.

During a prime-time evening interview, the reporter gazes at Ning Le with bright eyes and asks, "Ms. Ning, now that you've become the richest person in the world, do you still have any troubles?"

Ning Le clutches her hair in agony, her brows furrowed so tightly they could crush a mosquito. She says bitterly, "So many! My money's like it's under a multiplication spell. I can't spend it all, no matter what I do."

Reporter: ...

Could she have a few more troubles like that?!

Theme: Stay positive and optimistic.
