Zhu Yijun resolved from a young age to strengthen the nation and bring peace to the land. He would not follow his grandfather Jiajing in seeking immortality, nor his father Longqing in indulging in women. His only goal was to restore the Ming Dynasty to greatness.
Then one day, a strange creature with a human body and a rabbit's head appeared.
[The streamer is about to broadcast the life of the extraordinary Emperor Wanli, Zhu Yijun.
How did a well-behaved young boy and passionate young man turn into an incredibly lazy emperor who stopped attending court and reviewing memorials, and did nothing for thirty years?]
Zhu Yijun: I'm the lazy emperor?
Little Zhu Yijun gets up earlier than the rooster and goes to bed later than the dog every day, his head full of question marks.
[Why did his hard-won romance become the start of a tragedy? Did he make an enemy of the whole world for Noble Consort Zheng?]
Zheng Mengjing: I'm running!
Zhu Yijun: I'm chasing!
[Why was the great reformer Zhang Juzheng such a failure as an educator?]
Zhang Juzheng: ...At least I was a great reformer.
[Why was top scholar Shen Shixing nicknamed the Ming Dynasty's greatest fixer-upper?]
Shen Shixing: ...That's just rude.
[How did the genius general Qi Jiguang, the incorruptible and upright Hai Rui, the rebellious philosopher Li Zhi, and others meet their ends?]
At first, Zhu Yijun thought this livestream was some villain's spell, meant to make him give up becoming emperor.
But as things grew stranger and stranger, he had no choice but to study in the Wenhua Hall by day and in the livestream by night... He was way too far from slacking off and way too close to becoming a workaholic!
He appointed worthy ministers, developed the economy, and advanced technology, making the Ming Dynasty's prestige resound across the seas... At last, he no longer had to worry about the treasury running dry, the people living in poverty, or enemies surrounding the realm.
Zhu Yijun: I can finally slack off. (Miserable face -> peaceful face)

1. This
Although there are not many collections, the plot is relatively reasonable. Many writers who write about the Wanli Emperor are obsessed with urging the Wanli Emperor to work diligently, as if a wise emperor can avoid tragedy, but basically ignore the political game in the court in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, as well as the many factors that made it difficult for the Ming Dynasty to return. And the characters are not too ridiculous. Although it is a bit OOC, this book is really one of the works I have ever read that is more in line with historical facts and changes history.
You have to recruit the author. Is it Wan Li himself? He just messed it up after writing it. I have never read a book with such an abrupt ending. Of course it is good to read.
Ah, this is the end. It's so rushed. I thought it would be a long story.
I didn't catch up on the limit, I spent all my money, the article is great, keep up the good work
Are you really not considering doing more extras?
The ending was so cute, but in the end it was too messed up, and she was left to be treated like a lunatic by her daughter.
If it's not Liu Ping, why is it Li Ping in these two chapters?
Ah! Gone? I could have written more, but it's a bit sad to have it stop so suddenly.
I wish everyone a happy new year and all the best!
Eh? It stopped suddenly Thanks for the treat?????
