One rainy night, Conan found a little fox named Dazai by the river. With his oversized clothes and loose bandages, Conan and Haibara suspected the little fox had been shrunk too. The fox's ears and tail moved, defying all scientific logic and shattering their materialist worldview. When the little fox woke up, he said he knew nothing except that his name was Osamu Dazai, and insisted that a cute little fox couldn't possibly have bad intentions.
With no other choice, Conan let him stay at the Kudo residence, where Subaru Okiya, who had just moved in, would look after him. Little Fox Dazai started elementary school. While attending classes, he fished for information and discussed Bourbon, the Organization member who was on the move, with Haibara. Conan had no idea this was the beginning of a nightmare.
Masumi Sera, a transfer student at Teitan High School; the frequently fighting transfer students Atsushi Nakajima and Ryunosuke Akutagawa; handsome Poirot Cafe waiter Toru Amuro and cafe regular Chuuya Nakahara; Tokyo's nth detective, Ranpo Edogawa, and Ranpo's assistant, Edgar Allan Poe... All these mysterious characters left Conan reeling. So who exactly was Bourbon? Conan couldn't understand why so many characters had suddenly appeared! Was his script going to change again? No! No! No! He didn't want to change the script anymore!
Osamu Dazai: “Conan, I want some canned crab meat. Buy it for me, pleeease? A cute little fox couldn't possibly have bad intentions.”
Conan: “You've obviously got a whole bellyful of bad intentions. You're not a little fox, you're a fox spirit!”
Masumi Sera: “Conan, you act just like an adult. How old are you, Conan?”
Conan: “Ahaha, I'm seven this year...”
Ryunosuke Akutagawa: “Want to fight, man-tiger?”
Atsushi Nakajima: “Anytime!”
Conan: “Stop fighting, this is a school! (Those two shouldn't have anything to do with Bourbon, right?)”
Toru Amuro: “Conan, here's your favorite lemon pie.”
Conan: “Thanks, Amuro!”
Chuuya Nakahara: “Oh, sorry, I bumped into you. Are you okay?”
Conan: “Huh? I'm fine. (He's dressed in black, but he doesn't seem like a bad guy.)”
Ranpo Edogawa: “Hahaha, following Conan means we'll find interesting cases. Let's go solve one and eat some sweets!”
Edgar Allan Poe: “Ranpo, wait for me!”
Conan: “Solving cases really is the most fun! Here I come, lemon pie!”
Haibara: “Are you going to eat or solve a case?”
So, who is Bourbon?
Conan: “What happened to choosing one out of three? Now it's one out of eight? Why?”
Dostoevsky: “Oh, how interesting.”
Conan: “Stop! You're tripling the options just like that? Go be a director. I can't write this script anymore!”
“Ah...” One hidden character wondered if maybe they should stop causing trouble.
Conan, the screenwriter writes the script, and the director stages it. Though for Director Conan, there's not much difference.
A Detective Conan and Bungou Stray Dogs crossover. The author isn't good at writing fluff or angst, but is working hard to improve!
