There is a spirit medium in Yunshui Town who is often accompanied by a black cat.
The cat seems to understand human speech, and its words and actions have an eerie, almost human quality.
Animals that are too clever always defy human expectations. This black cat refuses to let anyone pet his head and turns his nose up at every morsel of food tossed his way.
But he always lies lazily and obediently in the young spirit medium's arms, never holding back when he rubs his face against hers and begs for affection.
