When Professor-level doctors at North City People's Hospital talked about Jiang Zhiyan, the deputy chief surgeon, they could only praise him endlessly.

"Come on. You're assisting me in surgery."
For a whole week, Jiang Zhiyan kept calling the guy pursuing Lin Yi in to assist with surgeries. Every time, the guy emerged completely exhausted, barely able to stand.
Keep pursuing her? Even a dog would be too busy for that.
One scorching afternoon, sunlight filtered through the curtains and fell across the cheek of the young woman napping at her desk. Her features were gentle, a few strands of hair brushing the corner of her lips.
Jiang Zhiyan walked to the doorway with a cup of water in his hand and quietly watched her, rare tenderness hidden beneath his dark eyes.
A professor passing by saw right through him and teased, "Didn't you say you had no time for that?"
Jiang Zhiyan raised an eyebrow, his gaze still fixed on her. "Mm."
"But I can divide my time between two things."
One is academic research.
The other is loving Lin Yi.

After they officially started dating, whenever Lin Yi went to his office alone, she felt a little like she was sneaking around. Aside from necessary work-related contact, they usually waited until the end of the day.
But one certain someone seemed not to care about keeping their relationship discreet at all. Every day, as soon as he finished seeing his patients, he called Lin Yi over.
In the cramped changing room, the man lowered his long, dark lashes. His cool eyes held a tender warmth as he chuckled softly.
"Lin Yi, how many times do I have to kiss you before you stop blushing?"
The young woman lowered her head, the tips of her ears red. She reminded him softly, "We're still at the hospital."
"Mm." Jiang Zhiyan nodded hesitantly.
The next second, he murmured in a low voice, "Then let's kiss here."
