My Pets Come from History

Bi Xia only meant to take over the pet shop her parents had run for half their lives. Business was tough, and she planned to transfer ownership after a while. Who knew that the little pet shop would randomly refresh with "pets" from history?

Li Bai the Cat, whose eloquence could pour out half the splendor of the Tang Dynasty, sneaks sips of erguotou. Du Fu the Cat, who lived through half an age of chaos, is obsessed with TV dramas. The graceful parrot Qingzhao leisurely preens her feathers. Cao Cao the Dog, whose loyalty is hard to judge, ponders in silence. The wily Sima Yi the Dog ingratiates himself with the shop owner, hoping to keep laying low...

Before long, not only has the Bi Xia Pet Shop become a wildly popular internet sensation, but the shopkeeper's life has also become wonderfully lively.
