My next novel, Willow Branches, can be found in my profile. It's a groveling romance. If you're interested, go ahead and add it to your collection!
Note: This is a parallel world, not a historical novel. It draws on unofficial histories and takes artistic liberties. The poems in the story are quoted from existing works.
Nian Nian, a history streamer, opened the history section and found it packed with videos about Qin Shi Huang, Emperor Wu of Han, Emperor Taizong of Tang, and Emperor Taizu of Ming.
Watching these emperors dominate the screen, Nian Nian thought that if she couldn't beat them, she should try another angle. And so, a streamer who made lists of ancient literary romantics was born!
To Nian Nian's surprise, her folksy lists and auntie-style chitchat became a hit...
Livestream One: This guy was something else. He was dealt a great hand and played it terribly. Everything he did proved the saying, "If you don't ask for trouble, you won't get it." This rich, spoiled playboy was Xie Lingyun, the founding master of landscape poetry.
Livestream Two: This girl was hopelessly lovesick. Her relationship was the ancient version of a gold-digging man and a rich girl. For his sake, she was willing to break with her parents and elope under the moonlight. But after the man got rich, he turned bad: once he rose in the world and made his fortune, he wanted to divorce her. Click here to watch the Western Han poet Zhuo Wenjun fight for her love.
Livestream Three: This guy was the very model of a romantic poet. He was a top-tier star in the Northern Song literary world, and a passionate playboy to boot. He lived freely and did as he pleased, wild and unrestrained, yet he was also an upright official. He was the great lyric poet Liu Yong.
Livestream Four: This woman was no ordinary lady. She loved wine, painting, calligraphy, and antiquities, and was a model for every romance heroine. She lived her whole life in defiance of convention, proud and headstrong, taking on the literary world and never losing. She was Li Qingzhao, the greatest female poet in history.
As the livestreams multiplied, Li Bai, Du Fu, Bai Juyi, Su Shi, Lu You, and many others all made appearances.
Later, Nian Nian discovered that her livestream had gained many viewers wearing the secret identities of historical figures.
The blurb for my next novel, Willow Branches, is below.
Lu Hong was born into a prestigious ducal family. He was gentle, refined, and exceptionally handsome.
On the eve of his engagement, a country girl showed up, claiming she was his betrothed.
It turned out that the girl's father had once saved the life of the Lu family patriarch, who had promised this marriage in gratitude.
Lu Hong disliked the timid village girl intensely, but to protect his family's reputation, he had no choice but to marry her.
For three years after the wedding, Lu Hong treated her with cold indifference. When he saw how carefully she tried to please him, he assumed she was putting on an act for the sake of wealth and status.
When Liu Shu became pregnant, Lu Hong frowned and said only, "You can't keep this child. Sooner or later, we'll divorce."
Madam Lu brought her a bowl of abortion medicine herself and watched her drink it.
Liu Shu cried until she had soaked through one pillowcase after another. Only then did she realize how ridiculous her life had been for the past three years.
Three days after losing the baby, Liu Shu asked for a divorce. She demanded not a penny and left the Duke's residence without looking back.
Three years later, Lu Hong passed through Pear Blossom Town and ran into Liu Shu. To his surprise, she had become a celebrated teacher in the region.
She had opened a school for girls, teaching the village girls to read and write. Her handwriting was beautiful, and so was she: gentle, kind, lively, and cheerful. She was nothing like the timid woman he remembered.
After much thought, Lu Hong finally sought her out and said earnestly, "I was wrong before. I still haven't married. If you're willing, why not come back to the capital with me?"
Liu Shu smiled faintly, her tone cold and distant. "You and I are worlds apart, my lord. I only wish for us to have nothing more to do with each other for the rest of our lives."
Theme: The integrity of scholars endures through the ages
Also, when Li Qingzhao fled, she originally wanted to present her collection to the emperor so that it could be kept intact. However, she could not catch up with Zhao Paopao. Later, she settled down a little. Her collection was also coveted and stolen by her neighbors, so she considered finding a husband. However, she turned out to be a bad person and stopped thinking about it. Finally, she finally gave up in her later years when she said, "Talent is not a woman's business."
Taking stock of Zhuo Wenjun's chapters, they are all barraged by modern netizens, and the ancients did not write any reactions. When watching historical live broadcasts, you can see the reactions of the ancients. If you want to see the reactions of modern netizens, you still need to read your article. You can directly find an up owner whose videos are full of barrage videos.

The writing is so bad, I just want to read Li Bai. You write so badly and there are typos. How dare you? And Li Bai is the first supporting role. No wonder there is so little writing. You also know that the writing is bad, right?
The love story between Zhuo Wenjun and Sima Xiangru is not easy to comment on. Both of them felt wronged, and they didn't really love each other and were willing to be together. Sima Xiangru always felt that it was normal for a man to have three wives and four concubines, and he was not willing to just keep Zhuo Wenjun. But Zhuo Wenjun reluctantly stayed with Sima Xiangru for a lifetime. After all, they were not a loving couple. But if Zhuo Wenjun gives up his love for Sima Xiangru and only wants the person who wants Sima Xiangru to let go of his heart, it will be easy, and she will definitely live a very happy life. ——Even if Heli remarries, the next one might not be as good as Sima Xiangru
That's too much. Another celebrity who writes poetry and drives innocent women to death. Dislike??
This chapter was really annoying to read. It reminded me of a classmate in middle school who had good grades but a terrible character and bullied others in the name of joking. The same thing happened when his friend cheated and stole test papers.
I really can't watch it anymore. I just looked for a video and read the comments. They are more interesting than what you wrote. There isn't much content about ancient people.
I don't quite understand why Xie Lingyun is said to be the originator of Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage? According to the historical timeline, didn't Zhuge Liang appear earlier than him? Or is it that in real history, Zhuge Liang did not visit the thatched cottage at all, but it was just added by the person who wrote the Romance of the Three Kingdoms?
