[I'm putting this story on hold for a while because I need surgery. I'll come right back and update as soon as I've recovered QAQ]
No golden finger, no transmigration, original settings and personal preferences, with a bias toward Rikkai.
The author's a bit all over the place, so the story might be too.
[Original settings: 1. Taneshima Shuji is Nioh Masaharu's cousin. 2. Rikkai Dai wins three consecutive championships!!! 3. Mouri and the Big Three have the usual senpai-junior relationships. Xf has done nothing but evil.]
The story of Nioh, a white-hearted boy who suffers at the hands of Taneshima Shuji before evolving into a black-hearted fox, then joins his Rikkai friends on their way to three consecutive championships, and finally heads for the world stage with his U-17 buddies. It's a bit of an ensemble story, but Nioh is still at the center. I have a rough outline already, and I'll write it bit by bit, with updates whenever I can. After all, I'm a college student.
Elementary School Arc (only a small part of the main story, just half a chapter)
Taneshima Shuji says, "I'm the only main character who appears in little Nioh's elementary school days, so naturally, I'll tell you about them. I'll let you in on a secret: Nioh was really cute back then." (Nioh cuts in: "Hey, hey, hey, hey! You just thought I was easy to fool, didn't you?") "He was such a tiny little thing, though he's still tiny now." (Nioh: "Our genes are practically the same, so you must be the one with the mutation if you grew that big.")
Junior High Arc (a heavily altered plot. Seigaku fans who mind that, please turn left and leave.)
Given that Nioh Masaharu's cousin is Taneshima Shuji and his beloved senpai is Mouri Juzaburo, what's the probability that Nioh Masaharu skips practice?
Yanagi: (buzzes in) "100%. The chance he'll get extra practice is 100%. The chance Yukimura will get mad is 99%, and the chance Sanada will scowl is 92%..."
Yukimura: "You're so dependable, Masaharu :)"
Marui and Kuwahara: (trembling) "Nioh, hurry back! Yukimura's so mad he's talking nonsense!"
Seaweed: "Senpai's a good senpai, except when he's tricking me. Also, Nioh-senpai doesn't look very reliable, so why is he always in the top ten in his grade?" (resentful)
Yagyuu: (pushes up his glasses) "How rude. You tricked me into playing doubles, then went off to play singles yourself :)"
Sanada: (scowling) "You're too lax, Nioh Masaharu!"
U-17 Arc (I probably won't catch up with Konomi Takeshi's story, so I only have an outline for the early training camp. I'll figure out the World Cup later. If I never get that far, I might abandon the story.)
"Nioh is really popular, isn't he? You'd never guess he's Taneshima Shuji's little brother," said Byodoin Phoenix, who hates Taneshima Shuji very, very, very... Insert countless more verys. Clearly, he has never experienced the white-haired fox's training under Taneshima Shuji. Taneshima Shuji calls it being simpleminded, but let's put it more elegantly: ignorance is bliss. Just then, Nioh saunters by with a mischievous grin :-D. Anyway, this is about Nioh Masaharu, a white-haired fox who drifts between high schoolers and junior high students and has never once been caught, at least not yet. As for the future, there's a long road ahead. Who can say what will happen?
Theme: If Konomi Takeshi won't give Rikkai three consecutive championships, then Rikkai fans will
