The first season of “Nationwide Idol Auditions” was dragged onto the trending charts after accusations of rigging. To restore the show’s reputation and boost its traffic, the director invited Wen Huai to join.
Wen Huai was confused, too. He’d only gotten a little famous on Kuaishou after someone pushed him to dance on his university sports field. When the director invited him, his first reaction was to turn it down.
But when he heard they’d provide an internship certificate and pay him, Wen Huai thought it might be nice to make some extra money. He’d just coast through the show and try to get off work early.
But the first elimination round came and went, and he was still there. The second round passed, and he still hadn’t left. How had he ended up in first place and on the verge of debuting as a huge star?!
