After the Emperor Abducted Me, I Just Wanted to Lie Flat [Book Transmigration]

Just before dying from overwork, workaholic Ming Fu decided that in his next life he'd be a lazy salted fish, living off others and waiting to die! But fate had other plans. When he woke up again, he had become a cannon-fodder character in a novel. Since he was already here, Ming Fu decided to stay out of the novel's plot and keep to himself, living a quiet, carefree life. But he noticed that his new friend had been acting strangely lately. At first, he would occasionally zone out in front of Ming Fu. Then it got worse: he would often stare blankly at Ming Fu in the middle of a conversation. Whenever Ming Fu asked him about it, he would brush the question aside. Ming Fu was determined to be a laid-back person. When he didn't get an answer, he stopped asking and continued treating his friend as usual. One day, an accident happened. When Ming Fu woke up, he and his friend were lying in the same bed, their bodies aching all over. Ming Fu met his friend's shocked gaze and was about to speak when he was knocked unconscious. When he awoke again, everything was pitch-black. He had been settled in a carefully prepared courtyard, with no way to contact anyone outside.
