(Detective Conan) The Song of Moon Shadow Island

I'm putting my Noragami story on hold for now. I'm writing a short piece to get back into the swing of things. It'll be about 20,000 words in total. I'm also working on a stockpiled story about breaking through the dimensional barrier, which will start at the end of this month.

The male lead of this story is Asai Narumi, also known as Masao Narumi, a character in the Moonlight Island case in Detective Conan. Those of you who've seen it may recognize him, but it's fine if you haven't.

I hope you'll find this an easy and enjoyable read.

Kashiwagi Suzuka and Asai Narumi met by accident.

What do you do when you realize you might have fallen for someone while spending time together?

The person I like is a gentle girl. The way she smiles is so warm.

What should I do, dear Mom and Dad? I think I've fallen for someone of the same gender!

You'll still wish us well, right? :)

A short story, a practice piece to get back into writing. The full text is free.
