At eighteen, Shen Yixuan became a Taotie unlike any other. Instead of getting hungry three times a day, he only needed to eat once every three weeks, but he had to eat ghosts to feel full.

As the fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month approached, a handwritten ad appeared on the bulletin board of an obscure village:

Hiring hotel sleep testers for a generous fee

Must be brave. Open to all genders. Just make it through the night safely.

Shen Yixuan followed the address to the hotel, only to find... a graveyard standing before him.

In the early hours of the next morning, Shen Yixuan woke up inside a coffin, perfectly at ease, as if he'd been sleeping in his own bed.

It was pitch black and terrifyingly quiet. At first, Shen Yixuan felt a hand. Then he found himself staring into the eyes of a "woman" who had appeared beside the grave.

Lou Ye assumed the air of a homeowner whose bed had been taken over. "Had enough sleep?"

Shen Yixuan answered honestly, "No."

Lou Ye: "How long are you planning to keep occupying my bed?"

Shen Yixuan's stomach gave a couple of badly timed growls... This ghost in front of him looked delicious.

He pondered. "How about we share?"

Lou Ye: "..."

Zhou Shujing pinched Yuan Song's cheek and examined his teeth with professional care, but the way he looked at Yuan Song seemed rather off.

"It's not convenient right now. Come to my place tonight and I'll take a look."

Later, his ex suddenly regretted everything and came crawling back to Yuan Song's door, begging to get back together.

But Yuan Song had already resolved to have nothing more to do with his ex. Not even his ex's mom, dad, or siblings.

Then his ex saw Zhou Shujing and said, "Big brother?"

"Don't eat too much candy. It's bad for your teeth." Zhou Shujing kissed him. "Can you stop avoiding me now, Boss Yuan?"
