Chu Dong ran into his first love, Yin Xiangchen. Three times in five days.

The first time, Yin Xiangchen caught him on his way to a blind date.

The second time, Chu Dong was rushing to catch the subway, while Yin Xiangchen was being kicked out of a luxury car by his parents. He made the headlines that very day.

The third time, Yin Xiangchen came to rent an apartment and ended up renting the one across from Chu Dong's.

Chu Dong remembered that awful time in their past.

In their senior year of high school, he passed a classmate's confession letter to Yin Xiangchen. A few days later, Yin Xiangchen matter-of-factly pulled him into a car and kissed him, scaring him into fleeing.

The whole school knew about their relationship, but Chu Dong had been confused from beginning to end. Yin Xiangchen was a spoiled rich young master. At first he was quite enthusiastic, but later he seemed to think Chu Dong wasn't proactive enough, and the two drifted apart.

After the college entrance exams, Yin Xiangchen asked to break up. Chu Dong replied with just one word: "Okay."

The young master of the Yin Group returned from studying abroad. Rumor had it he was about to inherit the company, and he was practically a walking trending topic.

But everyone at the Yin Group was worried. They had spoiled Yin Xiangchen rotten, and now that he was back, he wouldn't stay put. He was always running off somewhere.

After some digging, his secretary finally figured out what was going on.

That day, the rain wouldn't stop, and Yin Xiangchen complained to him about a scumbag.

This scumbag had confessed to Yin Xiangchen. After Yin Xiangchen accepted, the scumbag kept him hanging every day and responded coldly to his advances.

The secretary asked, puzzled, "Did he really confess to you?"

Yin Xiangchen took out a confession letter and pointed to the two characters at the end. "Look for yourself."

The secretary took a look.

Oh, so the scumbag was named Chu Dong.

Then he gave a thumbs-up in his heart. Anyone who could get Yin Xiangchen into this state deserved a medal. It was so satisfying!

But what was done was done. The secretary decided to soothe Yin Xiangchen's ruffled feathers. "Forget him. You're rich, and he's too blind to see what he's missing. A guy working a 996 schedule isn't good enough for you."

Who could have guessed that this would "wake" Yin Xiangchen up?

Yin Xiangchen knocked on Chu Dong's door. He had never lowered himself to anyone before, but now he pulled out all the stops. "I can't even afford rent anymore. You're the only one who can take me in."

Looking at his first love, who had fallen so low, Chu Dong said just one word: "Okay."

Then Chu Dong let him in.

Chu Dong: Am I supposed to sit down and do all the work myself, too? (Gets out of bed and leaves.)

Yin Xiangchen: (desperately holding on to him) (cuddles) No, you don't have to!
