A Guide to Raising Monsters for the Foolish Beauty

[Resolved 2025.02.06]

Lin Jiu has a very strange dream.

In the dream, all the neighbors above and below him transform into inhuman creatures. The monsters chase him relentlessly, and with nowhere to go, he can only pound on his roommate's door for help.

The door opens. In the dark, his roommate sits on the bed, dressed in a suit and devastatingly handsome.

But beneath him, tentacles writhe wildly.

The tentacles hook around Lin Jiu's waist and slip beneath his clothes. Their sticky suction cups feel icy against his skin. "Mine."

The monsters outside retreat like a tide. Lin Jiu wakes from his dream, and his roommate is in the living room, wearing pajamas and drinking water. His legs are long and straight, and he even asks with concern whether Lin Jiu had a nightmare.

Life seems to have gone back to normal.

But gradually, he notices more and more things that aren't right.

The doctor at the psychiatric hospital not only calls him darling, but follows him everywhere, constantly leaving blackish-green scales in his clothes.

The young master who hires him to tutor is usually very haughty, but makes him wear women's clothes. After Lin Jiu falls asleep, he bites open his neck and laps up his blood.

At first, the young master's older brother despises him and thinks he's a gold-digging woman. Later, even knowing he's a man, he tenderly calls him baby and builds him a golden cage.

His older brother, who had been unconscious for years, wakes up one day, but his feelings for Lin Jiu have changed. He not only wants Lin Jiu to leave everyone else, he also wants to marry him.

Everyone wants to claim him as their own, and Lin Jiu is exhausted in body and mind. But can someone tell him why his stomach is getting bigger by the day?

Note:

Not a multiple-partner story or a choose-your-love-interest story. The tentacle monster is the main love interest. They mutually fall for each other later on. One-on-one, happy ending.

Pure romance. The premise is just for fun, and the plot holes won't hold up to close scrutiny.

Everyone who appears as a monster or a human in the blurb has one-sided feelings for the protagonist.

Theme: There is true affection in this world, and true love too.
