“Rei Furuya as a wizard should be able to get a happy ending.”
This story combines elements of Detective Conan and Harry Potter. Read with caution.
This idea came to me after the story of the five members of the Police Academy group broke my heart.
The Harry Potter setting in this story is a happy-ending alternate timeline where Voldemort never existed. It's only a backdrop and won't be mentioned much, but many elements from it will be included.
Because the Detective Conan timeline is a mess, it's impossible to pin down the corresponding Harry Potter timeline, so the Harry Potter timeline will be a mess too. Don't worry about the timeline in this story or overthink the characters' ages in the two worlds. Everything follows the rules I've set here. You can also think of it as time passing at different rates in the two places. (Don't worry about timeline bugs in the story. That's Conan logic plus magic.)
This story has no romance for Rei. Ship whoever you like, but don't be obnoxious about it. I won't vilify any characters, but since Rei is the focus, Shuichi Akai may not be portrayed very favorably. Sorry.
Rei's childhood, Hogwarts years, and police academy days will be touched on briefly, mostly through short, lighthearted scenes. The rescue missions and main plot will get more focus, and the writing will be more tightly paced than before.
Only the Police Academy group knows that Rei is a wizard. If anyone else sees his magic, he'll modify their memories. Akemi only knows a little.
When they were young, Rei quietly told Hiromitsu he was a wizard, but since students weren't allowed to use magic outside school, Hiromitsu thought it was just his childhood friend's fantasy. After saving Kenji, Rei told the other four about his identity and demonstrated his magic. They then signed a confidentiality agreement and kept it secret. (The details will be in the story, but there isn't room in the synopsis.)
My wizard Rei timeline:
Meets Hiro → gets to know the Miyano family → goes to school in Japan → receives his letter at age 11 and goes to school in Japan and Britain at the same time (explained in the story) → graduates at 17 or 18 → joins the police academy at 22 and meets the other three → goes undercover at the brewery → saves Hagiwara → saves Matsuda → saves Hiromitsu → saves the squad leader → saves Akemi → ...
Wizard / Organization member / detective / waiter / Public Security agent / ... (Rei, what other identities are you hiding from me?)
Attends Hogwarts and school in Japan “at the same time” (Starting his part-time job empire young, huh?)
No need for a sixth member. Rei can save everyone on his own!
All the questions raised in the synopsis will be answered in the story. If you're okay with all that, give it a read!
Theme: The Police Academy group doesn't need a sixth member. Rei can save everyone, and himself, too!
After thinking about it, I felt that with zero perfectionism, he was probably the first in the grade all the way from prefect to student council president. If he ran into the Goblet of Fire and was of the right age, he would probably be able to win the championship - he was good at using magic and fighting, and the American Iai would be very powerful if he was older. As for the house, it is indeed Gryffindor - I guess I will feel unlucky when I meet Akai in the future. The annoying FBI surname collides with the representative color of his house, Tome.
A little preview of the content of the next chapter The next picture is an extra, describing some details of the first two chapters. If it doesn't connect with the original work, it's just sugar. Some details that seemed to be missing before will be filled in. There will be: Zero scared Jingguang and Akemi before receiving the letter. What happened when Professor McGonagall came to Ling's house? About why Zero went to Hogwarts instead of the Japanese Magical Institute On why Zero got the Time Turner and Portkey What happened to Zero in each store in Diagon Alley? The plot of Zero meeting the original characters Zero learned about the school and the four colleges from others. Wait wait wait
Press claw. By the way, can part of "that witch" in the article be replaced by McGonagall? Professor McGonagall introduced herself to Zero before. Using repeated personal pronouns all the time is something I try to avoid as an author, but of course it's just me. Well, I tried to think about what I would write if I wrote this paragraph - 11-year-old Zero has been foreseeing the future for several years, and he is already a lot more cheerful. In addition, as a new arrival in the magical world, he may be very curious, but he may also be a little scared. In addition, McGonagall should have told him not to run around. The words in my mind are probably, the Siamese kitten that followed Mag's wizard robe and couldn't see enough to look around, but suppressed its curiosity and didn't cause any trouble? Zero is also very kind to people who are nice to him, touching his chin.
What a great collaboration! Looking forward to the next chapter!
…When will the author update…
It's 2025... Will there be any updates to give an accurate answer... Please.
Are you still updating...? Woohoo, are you giving up?
Teacher, are you still updating? There are really too few articles about Mingke and HP combined with zero, and the teacher's writing is so beautiful. I'm not good at writing and I want to read, so I have to write the article myself. It makes my head hurt when I write. The teacher is so awesome.
It's 2024, would you like to ask the author if there are any updates?
If I remember correctly, I think someone got fainted by the door key, felt nauseous or something? Damn it, woman, your foreshadowing successfully caught my attention! (Holding a rose)
