Blame It on That Brief Glance

At first sight,

She fell in love with this man,

This married man,

And dragged him into hell.

He hated her more than anything.

He would hate her for the rest of his life.

At thirty-three,

He had an adorable daughter,

And a beautiful, gentle wife.

A mild-mannered man,

With a stable, happy home

And an ordinary life.

But then she appeared,

And shattered all his stability.

He hated her.

She had completely ruined his life.

But when she died,

He was left stunned and lost.
