[Western Fantasy] The Sage's Mentor

The Sage's Apprentice [Western Fantasy], also known as The Days Spent Traveling with a Fake Little Boy

[Western Fantasy otherworldly adventure + everyday life raising a child together]

.

A young man who survived life in the apocalypse transmigrates to another world, where he meets a lone child with soft, delicate skin.

.

Having lived through the chaos of the apocalypse's early days, he knows how precious young children are in a world where humanity's survival is at stake. So the young man decides to look after the child until they find his family, and make sure he doesn't die along the way.

.

But as they journey together, it is the world-weary child who puts up with the young man's clueless blunders and troublemaking, teaches him the basics of life in this other world and the virtues that matter in everyday life, and turns the modern knowledge he casually lets slip into wondrous feats of magic.

.

At last, one day, the child tells him that he is actually the Sage of this world. If the young man is willing, he hopes he will become his teacher. And if he could be there to see his teacher off at the end of his life, that would be better still.

.

A physically powerful young man with an immature mental age x a kind, tolerant Sage child teacher with a mature heart. No romance, just a journey of raising each other.
