The Most Hated Female Educated Youth Is a Farming Expert in the Apocalypse

After transmigrating from the apocalypse to 1974, agricultural researcher Fang Che became Fang Sijun, a female educated youth assigned to the Leigong Mountain Production Brigade.

Seeing the unpolluted soil and the plants that had yet to go extinct, Fang Che's eyes lit up with delight. At last, she could put her skills to use!

But before she could even get started, Fang Che discovered that her original body's health was poor and her work-point tally was rock-bottom. On top of that, she'd been ostracized by the educated youths and looked down on by the villagers for her bizarre antics, like pretending to be sick to avoid work and secretly hiding grain. Everyone found her unbearable.

Fang Che didn't care. She had survived chewing radiation crackers and fighting mutated insects for seeds in the apocalypse. This place was practically a beginner's village!

While the other educated youths cared only about returning to the city and slacking off, Fang Che threw herself into the experimental fields, tending to her precious seedlings.

The brigade members doubted her and mocked her for wasting seeds. Fang Che responded by doubling the yield per acre, leaving the entire brigade stunned!

When jealous people tried to take credit for her work, Fang Che didn't argue. She simply headed to the mountain hollow to clear new plots. Using compost formulas from the apocalypse, she grew pumpkins as big as millstones, tomatoes packed together like a forest, and soybean plants weighing three pounds each!

No one had expected the female educated youth everyone once despised to turn the poor, run-down Leigong Mountain Production Brigade into a nationally recognized model. She herself became an important force in the development of modern agriculture.

The villagers lined up matchmaking prospects for her all the way from the fields to the village entrance. Fang Che glanced over them and chose Zuo Weidong, the man in the corner who always kept his head down because of his bad class background.

People mocked her for having no eye for men, only for Zuo Weidong to get into university too!

Everyone else: So we're the clowns here...

At last, Fang Che could enjoy life, yet she still kept busy in the fields. From beginning to end, she had only one goal: develop agriculture and save the future.
