As she kept coaxing him, the Evil God began to believe every word.

And so she coaxed the young man into becoming her secret Dao companion.

The gu poison was completely cured, and Zhu Yaozhi never came back.

Then the Evil God descended. The forbidden grounds had never been what truly held him back.

Irises bloomed from white bones, butterflies burst from hearts, and flesh and severed limbs lay scattered like fallen flowers.

The beautiful, brutal monster had grown familiar with the sound of her name. Countless tentacles writhed excitedly beneath his robes, and the young man's face flushed as he stroked Zhu Yaozhi's cheek.

"Keep lying to me, or I'll eat you bit by bit."

Li Meisha was the Blade Sect's top disciple and couldn't stand Zhu Yaozhi of Sword Pavilion. The entire cultivation world knew they were sworn enemies.

Lately, though, his sleepwalking had gotten worse. Whenever he fell asleep, no one in the Blade Sect could find him.

He also often dreamed, but he could never make out the woman's face.

Instead, he binds her with an Immortal-Binding Rope.

Imprisoned on a lotus dais in the golden palace, she thinks Lou Boshang will take revenge by giving her a taste of her own medicine.

Then the System tells her two terrible things:

First, Lou Boshang is the great villain, not the protagonist. She got the wrong person.
