[Reborn!] Why Do I Have to Save the World Again?

Former magical girl Esaki Ayako signed a contract with a mascot at age twelve. She diligently fought the forces of evil for five years, finally defeating them with her companions at seventeen. The timeline reset, and everything returned to normal. A happy ending, indeed.

So Ayako, back in her twelve-year-old body but with the heart of a seventeen-year-old retired magical girl, decided to settle down somewhere small and quiet. All she wanted now was to enjoy the peaceful youth she'd worked so hard to earn and finally do all the things she'd never gotten around to doing.

Like falling in love.

But a month after she successfully got a boyfriend, her long-quiet daily life was suddenly thrown into turmoil again.

And this time, the main character seemed to be the guy she was head over heels for.

Esaki Ayako stared at her boyfriend, flames sprouting from his head, and fell into deep thought.

I wrote this to unwind, so updates will be irregular, and I might abandon it.

A nostalgia revival. The goal is a lighthearted, sweet romance.

The only anime involved is Katekyo Hitman Reborn. No crossovers with other series.

※ Content warnings:

1> The story starts after the couple has already started dating. No other romance plots.

2> Follows the anime. There are slice-of-life chapters and quite a few original characters.

3> The heroine is a strong fighter, but not invincible.

Theme: Live bravely.
