[Journey to the West] After Becoming the Foil, I Set Off on a Journey to the West

Xiao is bound to a mission. She has to serve as a foil to her master and embody the goodness, kindness, and beauty of Tang Sanzang and his disciples.

So Xiao is trying to con that compassionate Tang Sanzang, hoping to kick off her mission. Surely if she cries a little, the monk will agree to let her accompany him on the Journey to the West.

But it doesn't work. For some reason, this Tang Sanzang tosses her aside with one hand, nearly killing her.

She thought she could join the group before Sun Wukong came along, but instead, Sun Wukong persuades Tang Sanzang to let Xiao come with them.

Watching this senior brother lie around like a lazy fish with a blade of grass in his mouth, Xiao falls into deep thought. This doesn't seem right. Has the Six-Eared Macaque possessed her senior brother?

She had thought the mission would be easy, just a matter of going through the events of the TV drama. But every one of the Eighty-One Tribulations turns into a complete mess.

Xiao: ...I'm done. Are all four of these pilgrims out of character? And weren't my master and I supposed to be foils for each other?! Why are we the only ones acting like proper pilgrims?!

Just scribbling something down. Here's a blurb; the general idea won't change much.
