Nan Qiu was an ordinary, unremarkable 26-year-old woman. After suffering a crushing blow, she shouted, "I hate volleyball more than anything!" and chose to retire.
Then, one ordinary afternoon, ordinary, unremarkable 26-year-old Nan Qiu accidentally stepped on a soda can and died. Someone claiming to be the "God of Volleyball" told her, "If you can play volleyball among a group of boys until you graduate high school without anyone realizing you're a girl, I'll grant you one wish."
Nan Qiu wasn't interested. The "God of Volleyball" said, "You're already dead anyway. Why not just have some fun?"
Nan Qiu thought about it for a moment and decided that made sense. And so, Nan Qiu began her journey to another world.
