After I Slandered the Innocence of the Ruthless Sword Cultivator

Xie Mingjue, the eldest disciple of the Heartless Path, fails his heavenly tribulation. The lightning veers off course and strikes the Beast-Taming Sect's granary next door!

The fluffy little creatures are stunned. The sect leader cries himself unconscious in the bathroom.

To keep the fluffballs fed, the Beast-Taming Sect's disciples put all their talents to use. Lin Zaixi makes the most money of them all.

Lin Zaixi makes a fortune by spreading gossip about Xie Mingjue: "I really miss living with that eldest disciple of the Heartless Path surnamed Xie. I got to see him as soon as I woke up every day."

Rumors start spreading: "That eldest disciple of the Heartless Path looks so proper, but he's a womanizer in private, ruining young girls' lives. He even lived with one of them~"

"No wonder he got struck dead by heavenly lightning after failing his tribulation. He deserved it!"

Xie Mingjue, who had fallen into demonic cultivation after failing his tribulation and had to fake his death to recover: "??"

Later, Lin Zaixi's identity is exposed, and Xie Mingjue storms into the Beast-Taming Sect. He presses his frost-cold sword to her neck and demands, "Why did you say those things?"

Lin Zaixi's eyes immediately turn red. She says pitifully, "I was just reminiscing about my old room. It was destroyed by the heavenly lightning you brought down."

Xie Mingjue: "What do you mean?"

Lin Zaixi finishes the gossip: "I miss living with Xie Mingjue. I lay in bed while his portrait hung on the wall."

Xie Mingjue: "..."

Lin Zaixi immediately puts on a heartbroken expression. "Boss, I'm actually your biggest fan! I spread rumors about you because I wanted you all to myself. I'm sorry. I know this isn't a healthy way to love someone. I won't do it again..."

Xie Mingjue stares at her for a while, then a rebellious thought suddenly occurs to him: He doesn't mind being all Lin Zaixi's.
