A world-minded, max-level master x a ruthless, quiet, loyal-dog disciple
At the sacred Jinzhong Temple in Wenling, on a rainy dawn, a demon child was born with a red flower in her mouth. It was the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when the gates of the underworld swung wide open.
The abbot declared that the birth of this demon would bring about the death of the most revered person in the land: the Imperial Preceptor, who had served three generations of emperors, lived for a hundred years without aging, and was almost like a god.
After hearing the prophecy, the Imperial Preceptor went alone to Jinzhong Temple. He looked at the little demon girl, who sat in silence like an idiot, and decided to... take good care of her.
There was only one reason: he wanted to die.
He had carried that person's ideals for far too long. Through countless long nights, he had yearned for his former master with an almost pathological longing, repeatedly trying to kill himself in the hope that his soul would return to the netherworld and reunite with her.
Then, in the little demon girl by his side, he saw his master's shadow once more.

Zhao Lansheng, the radiant, unworldly head of Changming Lodge, served as the Great Liang court's Celestial Official. She could calculate the fate of anyone in the world, yet failed to foresee the downfall of herself and her sect.
All she left behind was the little disciple she had taken in.
A hundred years after her death, Zhao Lansheng wakes up again and discovers she's been reborn in the body of a little demon girl. Living under someone else's roof and stripped of her martial strength, she is at least still able to divine and read fortunes. The moment she comes down from the mountain, she hears that the current Celestial Official has met an untimely death.
The Heaven-Worshipping Ceremony? I know this routine. A hundred years ago, I was the founding grandmaster of celestial divination! This is right up my alley!
She turns around and finds the little disciple she left behind, who has lived forever without aging, staring at her as she puts on a flashy display of power.
She's heard he's become the Imperial Preceptor and can decide whether someone lives or dies with a wave of his hand.
Zhao Lansheng wipes away a nervous sweat. Why does his expression look like he's here to settle a score with her...
One-on-one, happy ending

I live on Withered Mountain. It's also called Weeping Mountain because, at night, the mountain cries.
Everyone thinks the mountain is haunted and full of yin energy, but I've lived here for years, so I know it isn't haunted at all.
It's just the bones buried in the mountain crying.
One day, I was sleeping when I heard crying underground again. This cry was different from the others. It was restrained, but somehow much more sorrowful than the other bones. In other words, it sounded beautiful.
His crying made my heart itch. I couldn't get to sleep, so I got up, grabbed a hoe, and went out in the middle of the night. Following the sound to its source, I immediately began digging up the corpse and its bones.
Corpses that can cry have long since turned to bones. Flesh rots far too easily, and the soul may have crossed the River of Three Crossings several times by now. Bones are different. They'll stay buried in the ground, making pleasant cries every night.
The more I dug, the happier I got. But these bones seemed to be buried incredibly deep. I dug for ages without finding a thing, and then it started raining. As soon as the rain fell, all the bones on the mountain went wild, howling one after another as if summoning some demon from beneath the earth.
At last, I found it. The bones that cried the most beautifully on the whole mountain belonged to a battered male corpse.
The moment he was unearthed, all the howling bones on the mountain fell silent. I took him home.
1. The main story is told in third person; only the blurb uses first person.
2. The heroine is the strongest and most shameless. The male lead is a little accessory.
Theme: My fate is mine to decide, not Heaven's.
I've finished reading~ The author's first book is really well written like this 💪 💪 But I still don't quite understand why the heroine is committed to continuing this dynasty and extending the emperor's life. I feel that saving the people and the world is not about saving this dynasty. I feel that the heroine can directly become the emperor herself/let the ordinary people revolt. After all, heroes emerge from troubled times. I feel that she can actually have many comrades, but she still resisted on her own 😭 😭 Secondly, I don't quite understand why they couldn't be together in the first life. If it's because of the master-disciple relationship, it doesn't matter how long they live as immortals, so why not be together until the male protagonist is worthy of the female protagonist's high position before making it public. They are really two little bitter melons 😭 😭 But if it's because the heroine has calculated her fortune not long ago and feels that they can't be together, it seems that the timeline doesn't match up.
It's actually a debut novel! ! ! ! So awesome! ! ! ! !
I finally finished reading it. When I was following Time Travel Girl, I found that the author had a finished article. I read it immediately. It's great, the ideas are great. I love it. I found this author to be a treasure!! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I bet fifty cents that the man in black is Yan Si?
Come on, I look forward to great progress. Although this is the first article, it is very good.
Can't we have another extra episode?
Finished chasing it, it looks great! !
It's very interesting to read, the big ideas are great, and the article is very logical. It would be better if there were more emotional lines!
This is actually my first book, and it's well written.
It's super, super, super good-looking. I really can't let go after watching it! Come on!
