[Thank you to all the lovely readers who've followed the story this far. I'm very sorry that work has kept me from building up a stock of chapters lately. It may be a while before updates resume.]
In the new era of Blue Star, everyone has an ability.
Psychic powers are a special case: they develop slowly at the early and middle stages, are difficult to advance at the high stages, and not a single level-nine psychic has ever appeared. As a result, the already scarce psychics have been leaving the field to find other paths.
Xia Yi almost became a level-nine powerhouse!
But after her master's death, she added a new branch to her once-straightforward path of cultivation.
So, as the new school year began, Blue Star's top university welcomed an unremarkable middle-stage psychic freshman.
[Middle-stage psychic? Just a glass cannon, nothing worth mentioning!]
[Powerful abilities are the mainstream of cultivation. Those flashy combat techniques are only good for picking on middle-stage kids!]
[The Ability Academy is the way to go. Someone from the Ability Research Academy? Another psychic who's given up on herself...]
Xia Yi glanced at her ability, which had advanced to level nine. While everyone else trained, she spent her time in the library. While they went on field trials, she buried herself in the lab.
The students watching her all agreed: The psychic discipline really is doomed!

Ni Cang had an impeccable family background and an astonishing talent for abilities. Countless people on Blue Star considered him their dream guy.
But he knew there was a girl who shone like a star.
Watching her break down and jump from the highest peak of the Genyaling Mountains had torn his heart apart. Thankfully, her biological parents took her back in. Then he heard that she had been accepted into Ningdu University!
Someone who was about to attend the same university couldn't help smiling.
His chance had come!

A few days into the new term, Xia Yi received a sparring partner who showed up right at her door.
Finally, she could have a proper fight without pretending to be someone else. Xia Yi thought: Not bad at all!
After going on a field trial together, Xia Yi gave her attentive, capable, and considerate companion a thumbs-up in her mind: Great partner!
When it came time to meet the parents, Xia Yi, unaware that her boyfriend had already won them over, imagined all sorts of melodramatic scenarios and prepared to give them a taste of their own medicine. Xia Yi thought: Those rich-family dramas really are all lies!

A long-planned assassination nearly killed Ni Cang, but his seemingly "delicate" psychic girlfriend suddenly unleashed a thunderous burst of power.
A level-nine, two-star psychic! A girl this young...
The Blue Star internet was so shocked it nearly crashed!
Later, the "incurable illness" of ability users was also cured. Only then did people understand how extraordinary that "fallen" psychic had been!
[Reading Guide]
Female lead: A determined, low-key "recluse" type.
Male lead: Ambitious and dependable, and incredibly gentle with the female lead.
I want to write a sweet little story about a girl focusing on bettering herself, while a man pursues his career and knows how to take care of the everyday details around him.
[I really love gentle, considerate male leads, and I'll do my best to write one!]
Premise: Life is a journey of cultivation.
I can accept that the heroine was ridiculed for pretending to be weak, but I can never accept that the heroine was ridiculed because of her relationship with the so-called male protagonist. I was really speechless.
Wow, I really like this book!!!?(???????)?
If you are interested, you can read the double-page article "He and the Zombie King HE After Resurrection [Interstellar]".
Sorry, I over-spoken, but since my wife is writing about female characters, it's best not to have a plot where everyone belittles the female protagonist because of the male protagonist. I feel like everyone can accept ridiculing the female protagonist because they don't understand her strength, but they can't accept the female rivalry. Then it feels a bit strange. My wife's writing is good and the plot is good, but the characterization makes people a little angry.
It's so annoying, it's so awkward to watch, I don't want to say anything when the female protagonist is so serious, and it's even more annoying to belittle the heroine so thoroughly.
I really want the progress bar to reach the copy soon. Seeing everyone's surprised eyes makes them convinced hahahaha
I like big-written articles, so I'll save this one first, and then I'll read more!
