[Alluring little fox x gentlemanly older man]

[Showbiz contract romance / Male lead has a secret crush]

Wan Fu thought her first meeting with Xiao Yanzhi had been at a difficult drinking party, when he gallantly stepped in and took a drink for her.

She admitted that when she first suggested they date, she never expected to win over this otherworldly man, as radiant as the moon.

She simply wanted to borrow the name of the Xiao family's eldest son to keep the monsters and demons of the entertainment industry at bay.

Likewise, no one took their relationship seriously.

Everyone assumed the Xiao family's eldest son had finally fallen for someone in his thirties, and had simply taken a sudden fancy to a pretty actress.

But only Wan Fu knew that on the night she later thought her love was unrequited, she had pretended to leave with carefree confidence.

Behind her, the man held a glowing cigarette between his fingers, so absorbed in thought that he did not even notice it burning him.

He lowered his eyes, his deep voice no longer able to conceal the emotions he had kept tightly under wraps.

"Wan Fu, I've remembered you for many years."

Premise: Courage is the foundation of love.
